Charming bar ambiance, but staff seemed disengaged and unmotivated during our stay.

The Classic Double room was pretty cozy, but definitely had a bit of an outdated vibe. Nice enough space for two people. The bathroom was modern and had all the essentials, which was a win. Plus, the overall cleanliness was spot on. But, could use some more fresh decor to feel a bit more contemporary. Definitely not a total dealbreaker, just something to keep in mind!

Charming place with a cozy atmosphere. Meals were delicious, particularly the fresh local ingredients used. Waited too long for our food, which was a letdown. Proximity to the golf course is a nice bonus.

The Pheasant Inn's location was excellent, close to beautiful trails. The room felt spacious and very comfortable. I appreciated the little things, like the tea and coffee facilities making mornings feel cozy. Staff were friendly, responding to my needs with a smile. Breakfast had a solid variety, which I enjoyed. the hot dishes were particularly nice. the restaurant experience was disorganized. Ordering at the bar felt out of place for a place like this. The meal was average despite the quick service. I was disappointed with the noise from the kitchen, which interrupted my peace more than once. It would have been nice to have real table service, especially for dinner. There were also issues with locals being unable to book tables, adding to the chaos. the ambiance could be lively but often felt underwhelming due to the quiet dining area. I'd happily stay again for the room and breakfast, hoping they'd improve the dining experience.

Excellent food and warm atmosphere
I enjoyed my stay here, especially the food, which featured locally sourced ingredients and was very well prepared. The staff were lovely and created a warm, inviting atmosphere that made dining and relaxing much more enjoyable. My room was comfortable with beautiful decor, though I did find the temperature a bit too warm for my liking. a delightful experience.

Chill vibes and great food!
Spent 2 nights here, super chill spot near Sale Fell. The room was cozy, clean, and had a fab shower! Loved the garden views too. Dinner in the restaurant was top-notch, especially the lamb shoulder! One thing tho, a lil pricey on the wines, but the selection was great!
